Since I started using AI tools, my concentration has got worse. I switch between tasks frequently and try to get as much done as possible.

Sometimes this leads to a situation where I just copy the output, paste it into ChatGPT/Claude, copy the instruction from ChatGPT to the AI Agent and repeat.

I know I may not fully understand how it works under the hood. But the temptation to make things happen is stronger than my desire to understand how they work.

When I focus on just one task at a time, I really feel less productive.

We live in an extraordinary age when we can learn almost anything we want. Yet, at the same time, we risk losing our ability to think independently as we rely more and more on AI.

Or, more precisely, perhaps the real problem isn't that we've lost the ability to think, but that we've stopped valuing our own thinking.
